This notice explains what personal information Happy Paws Retreat Wirral collects through our app and website, why, and what your rights are.

Who we are

What we collect

Your name, address, phone number, email address and WhatsApp/Messenger details.

The name and contact details of your emergency contact. Please make sure they know you have given them to us.

Details about your dog(s): breed, age, microchip number, health, medication, vaccinations, diet, behaviour and routines; and your vet and insurance details.

Your consents, your typed name and the date you give as your signature, and any enquiry you send us (service, dates, message).

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and to arrange and provide boarding or day care for your dog. This is needed to carry out our agreement with you.

To look after your dog, including contacting you, your emergency contact or a vet if something goes wrong.

To keep the records we are required to keep as a licensed business.

To use photos of your dog on our social media, only if you have said yes to this on the registration form. You can change your mind at any time by contacting us.

Who we share it with

Your vet, or another vet, if your dog needs treatment, and your emergency contact if we need to reach them.

Supabase. The forms and enquiries you send us through our app or website are stored in a secure database that only we can read, hosted by Supabase, which may process data in other countries under the safeguards data protection law requires.

The licensing authority, if it asks to inspect our records.

We do not sell your information or use it for third-party marketing.

On your device

While you fill in a form, the app saves your progress on your device so you can finish later. It is removed when you submit the form or choose Start over. After you submit the registration form, the app also keeps your name, address, contact details and vet details on your device to fill in the Veterinary Release Form for you.

You can remove everything saved on your device at any time with "Clear data saved on this device" at the bottom of the privacy notice in the app, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it to provide our service and to meet our legal and licensing obligations, and then we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, and withdraw any consent you have given. Contact us using the details above.
